Translation:

Bar Yochai, you are anointed—you are praised!—
[with] oil of joy above your fellows.

Bar Yochai, sacred anointing-oil,
You were anointed from the holy aspect,
You carried the sacred frontlet-headdress,
Your crown is set upon your head.

Bar Yochai, you settled a good settlement
On the day of your escape, [the] day that you fled,
In the cave of stones that you stood [in],
You acquired your glory and your majesty.

Bar Yochai, trees of acacia [are] standing,
The teachings of HASHEM are they learning,
Light of wonder, [by] light of the blaze are they ablaze;
Are not they your lessons [from] your teachers?!

Bar Yochai; and to the orchard of apples
You ascended, to collect [from] within it fragrances;
The Secret of Torah is like blossoms and flowers.
"Let us make man," They said in your passing.

Bar Yochai, you dressed in might,
and in [the] war of the Law-fire of the gate,
And a sword you extracted [and] whetted it;
You drew it against your oppressors.

Bar Yochai, to [the] place of stones of marble,
You arrived before the roar-reigning lion,
Also earned your laurels against the bear,
While crowned, you rose over the Bear [constillation],
[and] Perceived - and who shall perceive you?!

Bar Yochai, in [the] Sacred of the Sacreds.
[The] Green line renews months,
Seven Sabbath-weeks, secret of fifty.
You knotted; [the] knots of Shin are your knots!

Bar Yochai, the preceding Yud of wisdom,
you perspected toward its inner honor,
Thirty-two paths of the first of [the] tithe,
Like a cherub, [you are] anointed with the radiance of your generation/light.

Bar Yochai, light of wonder in lofty heights
you feared to gaze [at], for transcendence is by it!
Hidden, (so much that) ‘Naught’ is called to it.
You spoke that [an] eye [can] not perceive you.

Bar Yochai, fortunate is your birther,
fortunate is the nation [which] they are your learner,
And fortunate are the [ones who] stand on your secret,
Wearers of [the] breastplate of your perfection and your illumination.

Bar Yochai, may his merit protect over us,
And over all our brothers [of] Yisra’el,
That he should come and redeem us
In a hurry; and we say: Amen!

Bar Yochai...
